Incredible panDec 30, 2010

This is an incredible pan. I've had mine for about 4 years and use it for not only cooking fish, but pancakes and grilled sandwiches as the shape provides for two sandwiches to fit nicely without crowding (can't be done in a round pan). I you read reviews of Swiss Diamond here on Amazon, you'll see some people claim that the surface wore off. Maybe abuse, maybe defective. All I know is mine is still going strong after 4 years.
The only caveat with this oval pan is that there is no lid for it - useful for fish, pancakes or sandwiches. I just set a larger round lid on, but it would be nice to have a lid that fit.

Worth The $$$Feb 21, 2007

These are first rate pans. They have the weight of cast iron,
the surface of teflon and the heating ability of copper. With out the down
falls of any of them (ie: teflon, cleaning, burning). I bought a set for my
Mom for Christmas and I am working on the set for myself as well. They are
expensive, but you are getting what you pay for here.

This is an excellent pan - it's was very difficult for us to find one locally in this size. The pan is excellent and i would highly recommend this pan to anyone.
