For Christmas a few years ago, a friend bought me one of the more expensive peugeot mills. It was top heavy and fell off the counter and broke within a few weeks of owning it. I bought this mill to replace it. I've this mill for over two years now, and I absolutely love it.
This mill is more evenly weighted than my first one. The grinding mechanism works well and I've never had any difficulties with it. The salt is easy to replace. The color is a muted red and looks great in my kitchen. Several of my friends have inquired about purchasing one. I liked the salt mill so much, I bought the pepper one too.

I wanted a salt grinder to replace the old salt shaker that just dumps out salt when you tip it over. The electric salt grinder is perfect. Now we can use sea salt and get the right amount, with just a touch of a button.
