"This Space For Rent"
Peugeot is a good name in peppermills for a reason. I got this a few months ago and I've been nothing but happy with it. The grind is very smooth and even, it has a good weight in the hand and is easily adjustable. I'm a fairly serious amateur chef and this meets all of my needs.
It's absolutely beautiful to look at as well, which is a nice bonus. As a note, please don't buy into the hype about "salt grinders." Absolutely nothing is gained by grinding salt fresh, it's not like pepper where oils are released. Many people get hung up on the idea that they need matching salt and pepper grinders, but it's really not true. Splurge, spend a bit more on your pepper grinder and buy yourself a simple salt cellar like this one Totally Bamboo Salt Box, Small, it will serve you well in the kitchen and if you're really attached to matched sets for your salt and pepper for the dinner table you can get decorative shakers.

I was very disappointed when I opened box to find the 'red' lacquer peppermill was not 'red' but was burnt orange in color--so, I returned item.
