It takes tons of effort for little gain and only makes an ultra-fine powder that drifts away if you use over food. Bought off feebay but thought i'd pass on the warning.

This shaver makes your food salty quickly, and more importantly it's fun and interesting.
It's really easy to oversalt your food... this isn't quite like a salt shaker. After time, you realize this is an advantage... this is easy to use with practice.
I've found it to be durable, since it's still shaving salt after much use.
I can't think of anything else helpful to add. It's just a cool item that works!
