Superb American made blade!Jun 26, 2011

I own a mishmash of utility/steak knives, mostly very good Wusthofs. I use them for both dining table service and prep work, mostly salads, fruits, etc. This blade is as good as any i've seen, beautifully forged and nicely made. My only concern is that the handle seems to be just unfinished rosewood, and although the high resin content of Rosewood makes it quite durable, I do worry about how it will age. Still, the quality of the blade itself is so good I couldn't bring myself to downgrade it. Additionally, Lamsonsharp has a policy whereby they will resharpen the knife for you for free. Now, i sharpen my own blades, and will never use that service, but for some it is a definite plus. Overall, such a well made tool, and made in the USA, certainly worth your consideration.
