Great cutleryFeb 08, 2008
By Randy E. Howell
"Corgilover"
I have been using this set of cutlery for five years and it has been great. The edges have remained sharp with very little sharpening and the wood handles have maintained their beauty. I do not place them in a dish washer because of the wood handles and an occasional coating of gun oil keeps them in fine shape.

Perfect KnivesNov 19, 2010
By Bob My wife recently passed and I do all the cooking now when time allows.I did some in the past but mostly simple stuff. Cut to the chase KNIVES ARE SUPER and MADE in USA nuff said there. I treat them like the precious tools that they are. Right out of the box they slice tomatoes, onions, peppers you name it like nothing I've ever experienced. I've learned quickly to follow recipes to a T as I'm a very inexperienced cook and do not know what spices etc to use. These knives make this new journey for me a blast. They are almost to good because I usually find myself slicing and dicing to thin and small because I can.The santuko works like the chefs on TV WOW. I'm slow but learning fast. Made a stew and recipe called for thin sliced onions I think I know what thin is but I just kept slicing thinner to see what they can do, like paper what fun drawback is that they all but melted in. More often than not I don't know which one to use for a given task, again I'm learnig. Examples 8 inch chefs not good for potatoes they stick 6 inch better. Boning-fillet cool I boned a chicken breast can't wait for fishing season will throw away all my cheap fillet knifes now have a real one, also gave away old set so sad she would have loved these.Buy American when you can even if it costs more it comes back here. These are great knives and cut like they should also they are beautiful on my counter. To me these are the Cadillac of knives I reccomend these.
