"Don't squat with your spurs on."
These are some great knives. They are sharp, stay sharp, and easy to sharpen if needed. I have never owned a really good set of kitchen knives and just started to get some of these. Boy, I really like them.

My folks needed a GOOD knife for cutting meat. THIS WAS THE KNIFE! Slices through meat like butter. It was actually a replacement for their electric knife, so you know it works.

After many years of using lower ended knifes. We decided to get better knifes. We have heard of Henckels but was quite confused because that are many lines of Henckels. After doing many research, we discovered that there are low-ended Henckels that are made by many countries such as China, Thailand, Spain which are normally listed as "Henckels International". So we decided to paid a bit more for knifes that made from its origin (i.e., Germany). We received our knifes and love them. They are extremely sharp. Hopefully, they will remain sharps through out the years.

I bought my mom the block set for mother's day and it only came with a few knives so I bought one of these and a few different ones. They're great and stay sharp for a long time.
