 Great knives worth every penny.Feb 06, 2010

These are top of the line steak knives. They are really sharp no sharping when you get these. If you don't have a fillet knife, these guys can do the job. These cost me 150 here on amazon but if you are interested in these. Check out ebay first I could have picked them up brand new for $100 for a set of 4. But Amazon is the cheapest online retailer for these.

I bought a complete set of Twins three years ago. Pieces from different vendors to make the set.
Last winter I was examining the knives and low and behold, every single one of them has cracks in the plastic handles. It apparently is a noted issue as others have described.
JA Henckels are life time warranty, but the only way you can get the warranty is to send the knives in. I was told by them it can take up to twelve weeks to warranty. so I have not taken the time to send them in. (although I plan on doing it shortly because it pisses me off, as a Chef, to spend good money and get a half ass product in return for it.)

These are nice, sharp knives. The handles have a nice weight to them. They still look like new after almost a year of use, but I only wash them by hand. Henckels recommends not putting them in the dishwasher and I never have.

Amazing steak knives. no need to apply much pressure while cutting your steaks. Slices right through and doesn't tear the steak apart. Do not wash in dish washer as per manufactures suggestions. Wash by hand or they may stain the knives if washed in dish washer
