5Who cares what Rachel says....Jan 24, 2008
By Emma Jacek
I didn't buy these knives because RACHEL uses them, I bought them because they are the best knives I ever used, and I went through all the biggies, Henckels, Wusthof, Al Mar. Proper care is essential when using ANY high quality ustensil, and when these knives are sharpened regularly, and cleaned properly, they will perform beautifully. You will LOVE them, I do!

1Not GreatJan 17, 2009
By Elizacron
I bought these in 2008 in my quest to find good knives at an affordable price. While they looked and felt great in my hands, I was soon disappointed by their performance. As soon as I got them, I eagerly cleaned them and got to cooking. I found them to be extremely dull! Quite shocking for a pair of brand new knives. So, I had to sharpen them myself. Sadly, this was a frequent task of mine as they seemed to go dull rather quickly.

The worst part for me was the fact that the larger of the two knives cracked - right near the handle in the metal itself! I've never had a knife crack in the metal, so I was quite surprised. I took great care of these knives - they were always cleaned after use and I kept them in their case. They were never dropped or mishandled. But sure enough, when I went to use them one day at Christmas time I found the crack. Then, to top it all off - they *both* rusted in several different areas. The one that cracked rusted on and around the crack (near the handle) and they both rusted at the very end of the handle where the "Furi" logo was. Neither of them were left in standing water or anything like that.

So, overall they ended up being a waste of money. In the end I went out and bought myself a nice Henckels chef knife which is what I should have done to begin with!

5Rachel Does it Again !!!Apr 11, 2008
By Dennis Busby
I finally found the perfect deal! They were a FREE gift along with my R Ray pan set! Can't be free! However, when I got them, I realized just how great they are, and I would not have been upset if I'd had to pay for them! The wooden box is SO nice & sturdy, you won't be throwing it away. Initially I thought I'd only be really using the larger knife, but I find myself grabbing the small knife instead of a paring knife many times. The silicone handles make for very safe use! You won't worry about it slipping out of your hands. . I absolutely love it! I highly recommend it to anyone who cooks. Her products shows you y Rachel is one of the Top Chefs . Excellent knife set, you'll love it.

ok so hate is a harsh word but i am by no means any fan of hers. My lil sis has these knives and when i'm over there i love using them to cook. perfectly balanced makes chopping slicing and any other function so effortless. Now i'm shopping for a set for myself.

1They break & Rachel won't reimburse you.Dec 01, 2009
By J. Mahoney "Mahojo"
This was a wedding gift. I love Rachel and her show and didn't hesitate to ask for her knives. Well the metal busts right off at the handle. It was all rusted inside too. What in the world? I've never had this happen. I thought knives were solid metal, how do they break off during cutting onions? I have emailed everyone from here to the sun to try to get my money back. These are expensive and nobody will reimburse me because I don't have a receipt. My wedding was awhile ago and I never got a receipt as they were a gift. I even emailed Rachel Ray and her show and anyone involved with her and still no word.
