Good product for a good priceJun 28, 2010 We needed to replace some pans that were heavily used and getting tired. We had never used this brand before but based on the reviews, description and price we bought this two pan set. Although the pans are a bit light weight that doesn't seem to make a difference because they spread the heat evenly and the non-stick surface seems to work better than other brands we have had in the past. Time will tell but so far these pans are working great and based on that we recently bought a ten piece set as a wedding gift.
Great pans!Mar 21, 2010 Got these a couple of weeks ago and LOVE them. Have used them for eggs, french toast, pancakes, frying fish, and more. No need for extra fat. Easy cleanup. I just ordered the roaster and a covered pan. (Just a note: I had to return the first set because one pan came dented - very simple!)
Good stuffMar 19, 2010 Let's get this straight, when it comes to kitchen duties I am lazy and I don't like to cook and clean the stuff up. I got this set because I already had the Circulon stir-fry pan and it's always been easy to clean, sits evenly on the burner, and seems very high quality. I can now say the same things for this set. The skillets sit evenly on the burners and seem balanced just fine. If yours aren't, hello, maybe it's an uneven burner?
Poorly balancedJan 31, 2010 The skillets are great in many ways but poorly balanced. The handles, although comfortable to grasp, are too heavy -- or maybe the pans are not heavy enough. When the skillets are placed on the burner, they teeter up and down. Only when you have added enough food to weigh them down do they sit flat on the burner. The weight of oil or butter and a little chopped onion or garlic is not enough to make the skillets steady, so you end up cooking for a while with part of the pan up in the air above the burner. One wonders if perhaps a previous model was modified so that the pan contained less metal in order to decrease manufacturing costs, and when this resulted in a wobbly pan, the price of these skillets was reduced in order get rid of them. I would not buy a Circulon pan online again. I like the finish and the design and the way the handle feels but would be wary of buying another one without testing the balance. We bought these because we have a Circulon wok which we like very much.
excellent lives up to its promises.Nov 30, 2009 So far I am completely satisfied with the products. I can only hope that the they will live up to their promise after 6 months or a year. We'll have to see but for the moment ( 3 months) I am
very impressed and they are so easy to clean
