Great when new; short life thoughJul 13, 2010 This product is probably one of the better non-stick pans you can buy. That said, like every non-stick I've ever had, the non-stick ability deteriorates after a certain period of use.
My experience with this one and with almost daily use is about ten months when you begin to notice it is getting much harder to clean.
Using at high heat, which is required for certain recipes, also lowers the longevity I expect. Also, no non-stick pan should be sprayed with a non-stick product; it gradually fills in the non-stick design.
So...if you don't mind replacing after a year of regular use, this is a great product.
great multi-purpose skilletJun 04, 2010 I've had this skillet for over a year and I absolutely love it! I find its' non-stick properties to work very well and its' size to be a huge advantage over most any skillet I've ever owned. It's big enough to cook a generous meal for my family of five with plenty of room to stir the ingredients around without them going overboard. I use it for everything from scrambling eggs to stir-frys to sautes. Hardly a day goes by in which this skillet doesn't get used in one way or another. Great product!
Ok but do not last more than 2.5 years!Mar 24, 2010 I bought that skillet 2.5 years ago for $38. It is now not very Notskicks! I feel it is a very short life for the price. As pictured by a user and posted along with this item, I have the same syndrome (light chipping on the edge and black deposit inside the bottom). It was good at first, but now we need to buy a new one since pretty much everything stick! I recommend you to try another product. I have just order Cuisinar skillet. I haven't tried it yet but it looks good.

Disappointed with Circulon 12" skilletJan 26, 2010 I bought my skillet at Macy's (not Amazon) but feel compelled to write in my experience. I bought this to replace a 12" Analon skillet (that's another story). Our skillet gets occasional use mostly to make pancakes. We have owned this pan less than an year and noticed recently pancakes and other foods started sticking. When new, the pan only needed a small amount of oil and skillet worked perfectly. Tonight I fried a piece of salmon, skin-side-down which is normally no problem because in addition to the oil I added to the pan, the salmon skin has oil too. The salmon stuck to the pan just like the pancakes. Time for a new skillet. After searching the internet I found that others have had the same problem. While it does have a lifetime warranty, I am debating whether or not to send it to the manufacturer since at best they will send me another fo the same pan and I would rather not buy this pan again. I had a similar experience with the Analon skillet although the Analon lasted several years before losing it's non-stick properties. Having has this problem with this pan within less than a year I would not recommend buying this skillet.

Great for low temps onlyJan 24, 2010 Higher temps cause the non-stick coating to disappear. The warranty is void if the pan is used for anything above medium heat. The bottom of my pan is no longer non-stick, but rather brown, almost rusty looking.
