Reconsider before buying this knife. I admit I was intrigued by the 'titanium' blade, but you really don't get what you expect here. The titanium is basically nothing more than blue paint, and I'm pretty sure the super-slick surface actually makes food stick to the side more readily, because it almost creates a suction cup type of interaction as no air can get in and make the food fall off. I also expected a 'titanium' knife to be completely rigid, but this is more flexible than a piece of cooked spaghetti. The size of this knife is an issue with me as well. It's just a little long to be a useful parer, and a little to short and thin to be a real utility knife. Negatives aside, the knife was pretty sharp out of box and has stayed as such for a while. I haven't tried to sharpen it yet because it feels as if my stones will just ruin it. I'm not saying that no one will find this knife useful, but you just need to know what you're getting yourself into. There are better alternatives for the price.
