Interesting pot.....very heavy, I am still amazed by the weight, and I have used it almost daily, looks a lot lighter than it is. Great value, compared to AllClad. Quality construction and beautiful appearence, very well finished. Heats slowly and very evenly, exactly what you need for a saucier. Contour is perfect, rounded bottom with small flat center section, allows flame to heat evenly and still enough flat to be stable on burner, tri clad construction, but seems to have a slightly heavier SS bottom layer, so the response time is slightly slower than the All Clad version, works very well for its intended purpose. Only downside is that a 2 qt. size would work better for me. The lid is amazing well built, very heavy, very straight and flat on connecting surfaces. If you let any liquid cool down with the lid on, the suction created will make it very hard to remove lid, as well if you set the lid on a flat surface with any moisture on either surface. Not sure if this is a negative feature or a simply a residue of outstanding construction. In any case out of 30 or so pots, pan, etc. this has become a favorite.

I read the review on aol so I bought 2 of them - followed the directions (low heat) and everything sticks to them. Very disappointed. Was going to buy another one...but forget it.
