ANALON 15 PIECE CUTLERY SETOct 30, 2008
By E. Rozzi To soon to evaluate the sharpness of the knives in the set. But what I would like to mention is how disappointed I was after receiving the set, that it looked incomplete, in that, there is an empty slot but no tool to go inside of it. I thought I was missing a piece. I contacted Analon who said that's the way it comes. I asked if I could purchase an additional piece to fill the slot. They only sell sets and not individual pieces.
I spent a great deal of money for this set and I am not satisfied with what I received. It was a wedding gift and I feel quite embarrassed about the incomplete look of the set.

Very pleased with this setFeb 18, 2010
By L. Miller I purchased this set in late 2007 to satisfy my desire for an Anolon Brunello set. I've just been able to start using it late 2009 - What a great buy!! It was stored in a basement that had some water/mold problems yet came out of the box like it was straight off the manufacturer's belt! not a thing wrong with it. Excellent Quality! Like others, when I set it up, I was put off by the empty slot but soon got over that. It's a gorgeous set, doesn't slip from your grip when used and is definitely noticed when someone sees it for the first time. Great price on Amazon - others want $250+ for this set right now!

By Renee O Pruitt Pros:
1. Sharp enough to get comments if guests grab one to use. They are amazingly sharp. I had one guest comment that Santa must have been good to me because they sliced through her apple like butter. My husband's mom requested a set for her birthday.
2. They feel great in your hand. The design is comfortable to use and hold.
3. Beautiful. We both said, "wow" when we pulled them out of the box. You can just tell they are quality.
4. They do not stain or rust easily. (I haven't abused them to see how easily they would damage, but they have spent an hour or so in unfavorable conditions and look great still.
Cons:
1. There is a space between the plastic cover and the black block. It seems like it could collect grime. I was more worried about the knives than the block so I couldn't remove a star for that.
Anolon Stainless Steel Knives - Junk - Poor QualityMay 10, 2011
By Michael

I spent well over $200 on a set of Anolon Advanced Collection stainless Steel "Ice Hardened" German CrMov Steel knives 2 years ago-
Five of the knives have shattered, some into 3 pieces! The break occurs in the same spot on every knife, where the "one piece" blade meets the handle.
Most of the breaks occurred while actually using the knives to cut food (cutting my hand)- one shattered in the dishwasher and another shattered when I dropped it in my sink (while hand washing it.)
I have pictures of these knives- If anyone would like to see them, just email me.
